| | | | | | | | | UAV division.
Created in 2003, that division is focused on design and manufacturing of stand alone or remote controlled
Balloons.
Assisted in its development by French Laboratories, French industrial partners and engineers, EBSAT organization as made its first showcase in 2003 introducing its first fixed balloon at Paris Air Show at Le Bourget Exhibit. | | | | USING OF BALLOONS (taking example on our clients use) : - Urban surveillance : vehicle traffic, public demonstrations, industrial areas, special law enforcement missions, underground surveillance (fire)
- Forest surveillance : fire prevention, underground fires, anmials surveillance.
- Borders surveillance : illegal passing, counting
- Industrial and Oil
installations surveillance : prevention of damages on pipelines, up and down limit temperatures on sensible industrial installations
- Maritim surveillance : counting, identification of boats, seeking of voluntary or involuntary degradation with dangerous elements.
| | | | HOW TO CHOSE THE PROFILE OF YOUR BALLOON ?
Configuration board with essentials to allow us to make your balloon on demand.
1 – Static balloon, fixed or motorized ?
The balloon is used to make a surveillance mission in a static mode, it can work at low altitude without any risk neither for its surroundings nor for itself (earth to air attack), the weather conditions are not so bad : the balloon will be static and fixed. The weather is windy, it is necessary to work on higher altitudes to avoid any attack : the balloon will be static and motorized.
2 – Working Altitude.
We
must know the lower and higher working altitudes. The atmospheric pressure is not the same as we work on north/south poles and on the equator. The centrifuge vector is not the same, inferior at the poles. 3 – Temperature variations.
It is the
breezing aptitude of the balloon. Our balloons are mainly manufactured with a pressure regulation system thanks to a small inside balloon. If the temperature decrease and if the altitude is high then the regulation system will be empty and the main balloon will be full helium. If the balloon is not adapted to your mission, or if the working altitude is over, then the helium gas will leak away and the balloon will fall. In the worth case, it will explode.
3 – Volume of the Balloon.
The majn elements to take into account are : - the required payload
- the duration of the mission
- the speed diagram so the consumption of the engine
- The maximum speed that will be a consequence of the engine power, of its weight, of its consumption, on the oil volume and kind of propultion.
4 – The speed of the balloon.
Just a few parameters are to take into account: - the usual local weather
- the kind of missions (stationnary, dynamic flight, harrying, targeting, transportation of loud objects,…)
5 – Protection of the balloon.
There are many ways to protect the balloon against exterior assaults or collisions: - Increase of working altitude to escape from dangerous objects
- increase of the quality and stability of the optical systems
- Additional technical layer in polyurethane with a high capacity of distortion of 600% allowing to catch a ball with a small energetic power (end of efficient distance) and close down a small hole.
- Adding a Transponder or a TCAS. The first system give the balloon the means to give its position to any commercial flight. The second system is fitted to detect any friend of foe position and give it to the ballon (so to the remote headquarters) in the working field of the balloon.
| | | SAMPLE OF UAV BUILT SINCE 2003 - Helium Balloon available in several versions. | | | Static and fixed balloon, working with helium gas, Model 1 : 8m long, 6 to 8Kg payload, equipped with a small PTZ camera non
stabilized, excellent for a short distance work (200m) in visible spectra (possibility to add a focus doubler), equipped with a video broadcasting system (500m max), delivered with its rolling mechanical system. Includes all the filling and unfilling systems. Can be delivered with a special trailer to use the balloon immediately. Model 2 (picture) : Same configuration except 15m long and 100 Kg payload. Option 1 : humain transportation with human energy, Option 2 :
high weight transportation (30T, design and development pending), Option 3 : remote piloting system (details on demand), Option 4 : autopilot system (details on demand). Option 5 : positioning as a Telecommunication relay, for civil or military purposes, broadcast video relay, internet relay thanks to our Wavebend system
